Great quality ingredients help make great pizzas. Super casual but also nice enough for a date. Eclectic range of selections in the jukebox is a plus. I like the location in that you can visit without the traffic and parking issues of many downtown / east-of-35 eateries. Quick comparison: I prefer this pizza to Home Slice though Home Slice typically... More

Wow, real New York style pizza. It's incredible. You order at the counter and take a seat and they serve you. The salads are great and generous and the pizza is fantastic. The best pizza I've had in a long time. Super friendly people.

I had lunch here with my kids on a recent weekend. I had read about House in Austin Monthly magazine's "Best Pizza" issue, so I was eager to try it out. The building has housed (no pun intended) several other restaurants in the years that I've been in Austin, so it looks kind of boxy and fast food-y. They've done... More

Okay my family is Sicilian and I have eaten enough pizza in my life to fill the Bay of Naples. My family has owned Italian restaurant's for 75 years. This pizza is as good as any you can get in Naples or Palermo. Great appetizers (roasted olives, Castelvetrano olives, Ricotta cheese with pesto, a real seasonal antipasti.) Real Italian sodas... I love pizza & I really love House Pizzeria. The pizza here is coal-fired so the bottom has this nice char which makes it extra tasty. They are always coming up with unique ways to top it, like with sauerkraut.... or some fancy peppers. The crust is thin so don't go expecting deep dish or Chicago style. This pizza is... More

This restaurant has delicious pizza, great service, and one of the best things is that you can bring your own wine for a reasonable corkage fee. Not a fancy place but clean. Definite do-over next time we are in Austin.

Pizza is OK, salad is very good, good beers on tap, and service is nothing to write home about. If you can't make it down to Home Slice Pizza on South Congress, this place will do in a pinch.

We visit Austin 4+ times a year and every visit we take our son and grandson to House. He loves it and we enjoy the fresh variety of pizza and salads. They are all interesting and all cooked and served very well. they also have local beers on tap and a nice selection of appropriate wines.

Started with bread, good texture but no flavor. Fennel black pepper crackers were really good. No diet coke, only fruit flavored Italian sodas or Mexican coke-diabetic hubby can't have either so tea for us. Shared a plain old pepperoni pizza, I say this bc they have some interesting pizza options but we are purists! Pizza was great, loved the sauce,... More

Rating: 65% for pizzerias. On Airport Blvd, up north of 51st. Most buildings on this old highway are 60-70 years old, so you don't expect anything remarkable to be housed in them. House Pizzeria from the outside is deceptive--looks like an old place. But good parking, and the operators have done a remarkable job fixing up the interior to make... More
