Girl behind the counter recommended the Italian to my son, and he loved it. Solid sandwich with bold Italian flavors and parm cheese toasted on the outside of the bread. He was super happy with the choice. I had the BLT with avocado. It was good...

I had the cuban sandwich and was extremely pleased. Great atmosphere, great food at a reasonable price. What else do you want. Would definitely return.

I've been waiting for a good sandwich/sub shop to open in this area for ages (since Delaware closed some time ago). I'll be back here often! I had the Banh Mi sub the other day-- very good bread and ingredients. Tasty!

Great variety of toasted subs. You can get anything from a typical turkey or ham and cheese to great vegetarian options, or subs that have a little more imagination. The bread is great and the selection is wide. They also have a selection of beers bottled and on tap.

This excellent shop just opened in South Austin. This is the best sandwich and more shop in Austin. The flavors just burst on the palate--lots of umami! The employees seem happy and are pleased with the quality of the food. I can't wait to go back.

Don't let the fact that this cafe is tucked in a parking garage fool you! The sandwiches and wraps are great!! I recommend ANYTHING that involves the pulled pork, it's delicious. They have a decent beer selection as well, bottled and on tap. With a central location just a block north of Barton Springs on Lamar, you have no excuse... More

I've lived in '04 for nearly 10 years...first S. Congress and now S. Lamar. For most of that time we've lacked a decent local subshop (let's face it Thundercloud is underwhelming). Toasties fits the bill if you're looking for an interesting, tasty, reasonably priced sandwich south of the river. Also, the staff is friendly (a rarity in casual Austin eateries).... More

Toasties is a great place to grab a sandwich and go or stay and hang out! The employees are friendly and helpful and the owners are great people! There is a sandwich and dessert named after their son! They have inside and outside seating, video games and pin ball, and clean bathrooms! Toasties is located close to Lady Bird Lake... More

Excellent non-chain sandwich shop. Fresh bread, great tea, and room to spread out and hold a business meeting.
