In Austin on a business trip, and had supper at the salty sow. I had read a review that the beef shoulder was the best dish to have. This advice was spot on. It has been a long time since I had a slow cooked...More

A great restaurant with excellent food and very pleasant staff. My only advice would be if you want a quick meal do not go during happy hour. The place is heaving. But that said enjoy good food and a great atmosphere.

We have been here many times before and try to make Happy Hour, not just for the prices, but it's the only time you can get the eggplant fries which are super! Previously, we have tried many of the regular menu entrees but last night...More
