The closest sushi place to my house. I rarely go here. Then when the weather is bad or I want sushi without a drive I come here. Thinking why don't I come here more often.....then I remember post being here. The price isn't right for the quality of seafood. They have dry erase menus for the sushi. I got the... More

We have eaten at this fine place several times in the last year. Yesterday evening we arrived at 4:25 and they were not quite ready for customers but were nice enough to let us sit down until they were ready to start the evening. (We appreciated this because it was 100 degrees outside!!) They are always very prompt with their... More

We had been here before but this was a wonderful dining experience. We noshed our way through a couple of rolls some sushi and some tempura and all was great. We had the Happy Hour House Chardonnay and it was very nice.

We tried this place a second time recently. The Sashimi here is small and thin and very expensive. The service is lackadaisical at best. After spending about $40 on two people we were still hungry so we went to the grocery store next door and bought two ready made Sashimi packs for $22 and got far more fish that was... More

Izumi isn't the best place for sushi but it is very solid. We've never had a bad experience here. The sushi is very good and the beef galbi is also solid. The service is always consistent. They have a nice outside for dining. We go here often since we live in the neighborhood and would recommend-- I just wouldn't travel... More

Daughter and I dropped in after her doctor appointment to end her fasting. Plenty of room, but we were seated way in back near the exit as if we were being kept under wraps. Daughter ordered an udon, I got chicken teriyaki. On the good side, veggies were nice and crisp, and it was a portion size calculated to satisfy... More

The sushi and bento boxes were well presented. The atmosphere was nice and the service was decent, although not very fast.

Visited for the first time with a groupon and left very happy. Salmon roll and bento box were plenty of food for two to share. A little pricey but service is excellent

We have been coming to Izumi for a couple years. Unfortunately as they have gotten busier their lack of proper process management has started to show through the veneer of a new restaurant with great food. Whether you order to go or dine in, expect a debacle anytime between 6 and 8pm. Other than the service, the food is mid... More

I was passing through town and stopped for a snack at this sushi spot. I tried 2, new to me salads. What wonderful taste treats! The first salad was called ika and was a wonderful mixture of squid, bamboo, and seaweed. Delicious! The second salad was called sunomono and was not only delicious but beautiful! The mixture of cucumber, octopus,... More
