The new owners are making this place even better. The bagels are some of the best in Austin and their ingredients in all their offerings are fresh. Tasty place to go for you lox and bagels fix!

Pretty good bagels with generous portions of cream cheese. Service was fairly friendly and fast. I rather enjoyed the a Angry Loaded Texan cream cheese.

This is not a NYC deli, but the bagels are good. We bought a dozen bagels, some bialys, and a black and white cookie. The cookie was fresh and cake like. The bagels are chewy and a huge improvement than the bread with a hole in it that passes for bagels in Austin. I didn't try the lox or cream... More

Yes, there are NY Bagels in Texas. Quaint little operation. Bagels baked daily, great assortment. Homemade cream cheese spreads, of all varieties. Opted for the Lox special...bagel, lox, choice of cream cheese, onions, tomatoes and capers Sliced in half. Chose the NON toasted version of an Onion Bagel. Great overall flavor. Recommended that they place the capers on the cream... More

This is a small place where you place your order at the front. Servers seem totally uninterested while I was trying to make the decision of which bagel I wanted. It was my first trip there. The order took time because they did not have but 2 people working, one at the register and one working with the bagels. I... More

The very best you can get in Austin! It's located in South Austin, but so worth the drive. It does NOT compare to Einstein bros even close. Very fresh, very flavorful, very big! Fresh cream cheese with different fresh additions is so delishious too.

I am from the Northeast and have had lots of great lox sandwiches. Till my visit to Wholy Bagel, I was sorely disappointed in the Austin fare. Well, I have arrived! The bagel was fresh and of great consistency with good amounts of cream cheese and lox. My goto for bagels these days.

These are great bagels. I grew up in NYC so I know a good bagel. If you cannot get there early (they sell out fast) call in your order for later pickup. It wil be waiting for you when you arrive.

I love a good bagel. I am used to living in a town where there was an excellent bagel bakery only one town over and there were several independent bagel places within 30 minutes or so of where I lived, so I was a bit surprised moving to Austin to find almost no place that made bagels. I then found... More
