Although the food wasn't the best Tex-Mex ever, it was very good. The service and attention was great. and the value was good.

Late afternoon lunch. Very casual setting. The building is a bit run down, but the food and service was awesome. I went for the power bowl with chicken fajita meat. It was perfect with a jalapeno ranch dressing on the side. Large portions. Skip the sopapillas though. We would bring friends here.

I live nearby so I go quite often. Everything on the menu is good. I like the tamales. Off-peak times are the best times to go so as to avoid a wait. Parking can also be a challenge, as the shared lot is tiny. Casual atmosphere. If you eat outside, you can bring your dog, which is nice.

Good Mexican, great service and good experience. Lunch with three people so had a shrimp and a chicken quesadia and a beef burrito with fresh guacamole. So a good meal all round. Price good and company excellant. Would come again if in Austin.

Great stop for lunch. Food was great. Service was quick. Told us we would have to wait ten to fifteen minutes. Had a table for us after only about five minute. The Fajita Chicken Tacos were some of the best I have every had. The only drawback is the parking is a little tight. The is plenty of street parking... More

Loved the margaritas, loved the food! They treated our large group really well. Everyone loved their menu choices. When there was a little confusion around who ordered what the wait staff were right on top of things to make it better. I loved my beef crisp tacos. The chips and salsa were made fresh and well balanced. I'd definitely go... More

If you want a fresh taco salad, try the Powerbowl. The black beans, avocado and pulled chicken make this salad so enjoyable. Get your dressing on the side so that you can season to taste. This is a very popular restaurant. We arrived just after 6:00p on a weekday. We would have had to wait for an outside table, but... More

Maudie's does really nice Tex Mex. Their prices are reasonable, the salsa is spicy, and the chile con carne on the enchiladas in top notch. I would definitely recommend a visit to one of the Maudie's locations while in Austin for a Tex Mex meal.

Sunday morning breakfast. Great selection. Normal eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. Others had Tex Mex offerings. Ample portions, good taste and free flowing coffee. Worked for me.
