This is a standard version of Maudie's upstairs just past Uno and across the way from Firehouse. They serve the standard Maudie's menu which has quite a variety of TexMex. I prefer the Fajatia's (Chicken or Beef) and the soft tacos.

We usually try to go early here to beat the crowds and traffic. Good Mexican food and margaritas. Nice area to sit outside and great for kids.

Fun place. Friendly staff. Great food and good prices. Chips were fresh, as was the salsa. You can't go wrong.

This is my special location, and I’ve gone here for my birthday meal every year for nearly a decade. While they don’t normally take reservations, we called ahead just to make sure there was a place secured for us. Due to the humidity, we sat...More

We lived in Austin for almost 9 years and became "hook, line and sinker" die-hard Tex-Mex fans!! And no where in Austin, much less the country, serves it up any better than Maudi's!!! Now, when we go back to visit, our first stop from the...More

A perfect place for casual business lunch or drink with a business acquaintance. The diablo queso and chips are a good first choice and I like that they have a frozen skinny margarita for the summer. Did I mention the services is great!

Very good food and service and killer margueritas. We live in New York and cannot get this type of food-either high end or taco stand. Maudie's fills the gap wonderfully.

I guess people are really limited in that part of town as to where to eat. The patio is nice, but nice scenery and good food never seem to be at the same place.

Maudie's is close by but that's not the reason we go there. The food is very good and the waitstaff is fun the views are terrific and all in all a great value

We enjoy sitting on their patio with margaritas. They have serious gluten free chips and salsa, granted chips & salsa are usually gluten free but they make sure no cross contamination by providing individual bags of chips.
