We were looking forward to have some Dim Sum at Chinatown but were told coldly by the hosting waitress that they did not serve Dim sum. This was such a strange way to welcome us. We asked for a Chinese menu and she told coldly that she did not have any menu in Chinese. The host did not seem to... More

We arrived at 5pm a party of four to utter chaos. The manager was drinking vodka to help him get through it but I don't think it was helping. People were lining up out the door, a lot of them were there to pick up takeaway (who had already waited an hour) or to place a takeaway, since it was... More

Food was excellent. I had the General Tso chicken. Very tasty. Chicken was fork tender, which is pretty unusual these days. Service was prompt. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup. Fried wontons were $1.50 extra, but worth the minor expense. Overall excellent experience. I'll be back.

First visit to Chinatown for the Dim Sum Sunday brunch. The selection was good, the staff was great, and most importantly the Dim Sum was authentic and delicious. Cannot wait for next weekend to go back!

This place has a great vibe, the ambiance is amazing. I just wished the quality of food matched how charming this place was. The quality of meat/food was mediocre at best. Wasn't impressed, won't be back.

It's only on Sat on Sun, but if you want some authentic dim sum, this is the place. Be patient as foods keep coming. I ordered three items off the first cart, and I sabotaged my ability to taste the whole variety. Good food, good service. When in Austin, this place is the place for brunch dim sum.

A high dollar affair in a very well appointed restaurant complete with very attentive staff. They had a few dinner items that were affordable, but if ordering family style dishes, be ready for about $20 a person. The sesame chicken was the best I've had in the states, crunchy texture, not too much sauce, great broccoli. The lemon chicken was... More

This was my first visit to Chinatown but not the last. My favorite Chinese food dish is General Chicken but I don't like it made with sweet & sour sauce like most places use. Fortunately, here they make it with the proper spicy sauce that has the little peppers in it. The chicken was pretty good. The fried rice was... More

We needed to eat near Austin Regional Clinic, so this looked promising. The setting was lovely. It's probably not fair to judge by the lunch specials, which are usually unadventurous. They were indeed unadventurous, although tasty. I had the sesame chicken, with enough food to take home and provide another meal. Sushi is also on the menu, although we didn't... More
