The Schlotzsky's Original deserves its popularity. A unique combination of smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, and melted cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan layered with black olives, red onion, lettuce, tomato, mustard and special dressing on a Sourdough bun. Get lots of napkins because of the dripping deliciousness. Always a pleasure to find a Schlotzsky's in the airport.

Flying out of Austin, decided to go here. Line was not long to order but very long wait to pick up food. $5.00 for a bottle of water that would cost you $3.00 in a gas station was a bummer. Sandwich wasn't bad.

Deli are ok. Nothing fancy. At least it's a food that's prevent hunger. Tastes like heated frozen food. Would come again, if there's no choices to eat .

I needed a quick sandwich between flights while in Austin. I had been to another Schlotzky's before and thought it was worth another visit since the quality of the food seemed well above average for a chain deli. Fortunately for me there was one at the Austin airport. I ordered "The Original" on wheat which, according to Schlotzky's website, had... More

What a surprise. My wife and I shared the Sausage and Peppers pasta. It was quite tasty. The only thing that keeps it from being Excellent, was that it could have had more sausage. Topped it off with a Salted Toffee & Pretzel cookie that was really good.

Most restaurants in the Austin airport serve some sort of breakfast and Schlotzsky's isn't any different with breakfast bagels and sandwiches. These sandwiches come with has browns similar to the hash "rounds" served at Burger King. My experience here was pretty bad. They take the component parts of your breakfast sandwich, pre-cooked egg, pre-cooked bacon, and sourdough bread, and run... More

The plane trip was 31/2 hours with a 1 hour layover so we bought a sandwich to take with us. It was really tasty about half way though the trip home.

For crying out loud, this place is the number one on the list of poor service. I ordered a sandwich and waited nearly 20 minutes for same. Understanding time management from my military years, it is obviously that the Manager and 'ALL" employees of this favorite sandwich shop of mine hasn't a clue that people are waiting for flights. Someone... More

I ate here on a recent layover. The Albuquerque Turkey was good, warm, quick and cheap for an airport. You order on a computer touch screen that allows special ordering. My sandwich was less than $6 and ready in minutes.
