Went to Austin Pizza Garden to celebrate my wife's birthday with our family. I don't know if they have had a change in management, ownership, or staff, but things have sure changed, and not for the better. We have been going there for 6 years since we moved to Lakeway. Have even taken our Italian friends there for pizza when... More

I like this place. Right off 290 in Austin. It is in a limestone rock building. Lots of indoor and outdoor dining. The pizza pies are big and tasty. Top with off with beverage of your choice and you are good to go. Good friendly staff. Lots of parking space. A little tricky to get out of so be careful.... More

The Mexican Pizza was great-- but spicy. If ordering for children, ask them to hold the jalapenos. A great place to watch the game on tv.

I only had lunch there. Great pizza and salad. In a historical building which adds a lot to this review. Unfortunately if you are not traveling South on 290 getting in and out of parking lot very, very difficult.

A friend treated me to a post-birthday celebratory dinner just now. It was my first time at APG. It won't be my last. The staff greeted us warmly. Our server (Matt) was friendly & attentive...as was the manager (Billy?) who engaged us post-dinner in music conversation. The pizza was very good & served with only a short wait (we arrived... Under new ownership.Same great food with fresh ingredients and cold beer BUT ultra slow service. Almost walked out. The new owner(Billy Graham) came out to apologize for tonight's hour wait for a pizza! He picked up our check. We appreciated his good business sense! We will try them again before too long! It was NOT the wait staff but lack... More

The place has been many things in the past, but now is a great and hidden pizza paradise in Austin. Pizzas are simply great as well as the salads! I've been only for lunch when they serve all pizzas on thin crust, but boy, they don't need any other crust. I always get the Colossus (basically a supreme). I guess... More

I have recently been trying out some of the other top pizza joints in Austin (Pieous & Via 313) both of which were great but then I went back to APG for the first time in a long time and I have been reminded of who has the best pizza in town. I can also tell you that you will... More

Man, the pizza here is spot on! We didn't want to deal with the hassle of going to Home Slice, but still wanted good za'. The service was ehh, she was friendly, just not attentive, but MAN! The pizza was fab! We got The Collosus and 2 pepperoni pies. I will definitely go back!

Thank Kathleen C
