This is a barbecue place (mostly) in an older historic building on 2nd about 3 blocks from Congress. I went there for brunch on a Sunday morning. The food was darn good, I had a two meat plate with brisket and ribs. There were four...More

A very buzzy atmosphere for a business meal. The black Angus short rib was very tasty if a bit dry. However the Brussel sprout side dish was excellent and I could have eaten just that on its own. Also very good was the Live Oak...More

If upscale BBQ is out of your price range, I highly recommend trying out their Happy Hour 7 Days a Week, from 5 – 7pm. (Check their website to make sure info is still valid.) We sat at the downstairs bar to enjoy half price...More

This place is amazing! Great staff, great drinks, highly recommend you make reservations. The entire menu is delicious, but brunch recommendations: wild boar ribs fried green tomato salad meat platter (include pulled pork and the coffee brown sugar brisket)

My daughter gave me a gift certificate to Lamberts for father's day. Not being from Austin or knowing anything about the place, we looked it up and went for dinner. What an incredible pleasure! The restaurant is located right downtown, very close to the Moody...More

Madame and I hadn't realized that it had been six years (!) since our last visit to Lambert; why it took us that long, particularly since we moved to the area in 2015, I don't know, as we've always enjoyed the place. A Fathers' Day...More

We sat at a partial booth on the right hand side of the lower level and shortly after sitting down we noticed that water was dripping on the shoulder of one of our party of four. We had to move over as it was quite...More

We stopped at Lamberts for lunch. We ended up sharing two appetizers: the deviled eggs and the wild boar ribs. Both were amazing in their own ways. Beer was cold and good too. A must stop if you are visiting Austin.

Like Ray5000, I didn't see any, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I don't go to restaurants to watch TV. Call Lambert's and ask them.
