Stopped in this adorable shop for coffee and some scones. LOVED it. Great vibes, delicious food, and unique coffee/juice for takeaway. The boozy coffees were particularly awesome!

We traveled to Abingdon to visit the farmers market and the other sites in town and to have breakfast at the White Birch. Because it was a Saturday, we got to the restaurant early. Glad we did! It is a small place to begin with....The social distancing requirements further limited how many people could be seated so I suggest getting there soon after they open. While they offer many healthy alternatives, I went for the sausage gravy and biscuits. It was literally the best I have ever eaten. Both the gravy and the biscuit were top notch. The coffee was excellent as was the service. I was disappointed we would not be in town to try other meals. The lunch/dinner menu looked amazing!More
We made the drive here as the little town we were staying in didn’t have a breakfast option. White Birch and Abington was worth the drive. The sausage gravy biscuit was delicious! It was just the perfect meal with a delicious biscuit and a “just...right” gravy:sausage ratio. The side of bacon was 5 pieces, also delicious. Had the orange juice since had to try a juice. Entire meal was so worth it.More
I went to with my family and we all ordered the black bean burger. The burger itself was alright, but my family insisted it wasn't as good as it used to be. It did seem very overpriced for a black bean burger, especially since it...didn't have any expensive toppings included. The food was good, but it certainly wasn't worth the money, unfortunately. Also, dining inside with the juices and stuff being blended made it near impossible to have consistent dining conversation. So, if you go here, definitely eat outdoors. I would potentially go back, but I wouldn't get the black bean burger again if that's what they're charging for 'market price'.More
We stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday because the "freshest and most regionally local ingredients possible" approach appealed to us. Our online order was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. We thought the Birch Power Bowl and the Thai Chicken Wrap were indeed...fresh; nicely done. However, the food tasked surprisingly bland. Especially the wrap. Thai food is characterized by bold flavors (hot, sweet, salty, sour); none of that was detected in the Thai Chicken Wrap. We would welcome the opportunity to try this place again if they ramp up the flavor a bit.More
We stopped by this place thinking we would grab breakfast. It is a restaurant who uses all locally sourced ingredients. Very clean and everyone was masked and socially distancing. We sat down and saw their specials which was a rainbow wrap and a market sandwich....We decide to go for the lunch specials instead of breakfast (the French Toast sounded delicious) Both were just wonderful. We also tried the Tumeric tonic juice which was also great. We also tried the mimosas which were one of the best we ever had. While we have not tried dinner yet, we did hear several people rave about the dinner they had there the night before. We will definitely come back for another meal!More
Thanks so much for your review! We are glad you enjoyed.
Went there after reading they had vegan options! Hubs got a Hummus Wrap and I had a power bowl! Yummy choices! Friendly staff! Very clean! Went back to have breakfast the morning we were leaving town and unfortunately it was an hour before opening, but...we will be back next trip!More
The place is clean and nice, staff very friendly and generally welcoming. The juice was very good, but the food was average at best with the cheque coming out a lot higher than I would have liked for an average tasting wrap and undercooked potatoes....Would recommend if you’re trying to get some nice juice but the breakfast could be greatly improved.More
This was our first time trying this Sunday brunch. The experience was way above our expectations!.The atmosphere was very unique and casual. I liked that they kept the menu simple but covering all of the bases for a good brunch. The mixed berry juice was...very tasty. The toasted chicken salad on sourdough bread was very delicious. I liked the fact that they use products from local farms. We will definitely be back!More
Great food selection and quality non gmo and organic and local farm fresh. A bit pricey for what you get but quality is very high.
