I had a smoked club. Excellent. Quality ingredients. I absolutely would go back. Service wasn’t quick. Oh, yeah, the fresh chips were quite good.

Went to Bone Fire for dinner and was very pleased. As the name implies it is a BBQ restaurant in an old hardware store building. The wonderful smell of BBQ greets you as you approach. I had brisket and smoked turkey while my wife had...grilled chicken and pork BBQ. Food was fantastic. Don’t forget to ask for the seasonal cobbler and ice cream. Great bar area and ice cold beer. Good food and cold beer = 5 Stars.More

Stopped in for an early dinner. I had the Pulled chicken with 2 sides. Nice variety of BBQ sauces to try, and lots of food.

We were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant for dinner & chose Bone Fire Smokehouse & boy, am I glad we did! We had the ribs (moist & tender) with the Mac & cheese (super creamy) & baked beans (tangy). They have a sauce bar...where you can choose from 5 different BBQ sauces ( I liked the peach, my son went for the spicier blueberry). It was a Thursday night & we pretty much had the place to ourselves, but this was great food! Try it!More

My wife and I were looking for dinner while passing through. The hotel provided us with an envelope with local restaurants. Looking for something close we decided to visit Bone Fire. It was hard to find driving up and down west main st so we...parked and walked until we found it. Small place with alot of wood. Very comfortable feel. It was a Saturday night so it was very busy. We arrived around 6pm and already a wait. We decided to sit at the bar until our table was ready Ordered a beer (very good selection)and mixes drink for my wife. Thats when we met Dan. He was great. First asked our names where we are from and introduced hi self. He very friendly and made us feel so good we decided to give up our table and stay at the bar for dinner. Dan explained the menu and how the meat is smoked on site. We started with smoked chicken wings for an appetizer. Wow!! No sauce just smoked then you can go to the sauce bar and pick between 5 sauces. For our main we chose the 4 meat combo and shared it. We just couldn't decide on all the great choices. Pork, brisket, ribs and smoked brats with 2 sides and a piece of homemade corn bread. Being from Northern Carolina had my doubts on the pork but was impressed no sauce to cover up the meat and it was very moist. Most very good but the brats the worst ever eaten. Only reason for 4 stars. Great location and Dan made it so personable would recommend.More

All types of Barbeque, chicken, pork and beef. All done so it's tender and moist. A selection of sauces from mild to extra hot. Also great homemade chips. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. You can also take out just the meats for a special picnic.

We were in Abingdon for the Christmas Parade and a few other events for a few days. We stopped for take out at Bone Fine for lunch and got the mac ‘n cheese for my daughter. The portion was huge and no way she could...have eaten all of it, much as she enjoyed it. I got the gator bites which was okay. The restaurant is lovely and if we are ever in Abingdon again, I’d like to have a sit down meal.More

Super tasty pork BBQ. Love the BBQ sauce bar where you can pick your own sauces. Also got the Cuban pork sandwich with collards, which I would order again.

The Bone Fire has a great bar, and you can often find live musicians performing. Great gathering spot for family and friends.

I don't know the answer to this specific question. My general advice would be to avoid traditional barbecue places if you wish sugar-free, low fat meals.
