We stopped here for breakfast while on a getaway. The food was okay but nothing grand. I had a cheese and egg biscuit and my husband had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The Christmas decor was really cute though and it’s a cute diner....Maybe we just ordered the wrong... I’m not sure.More

We loved the atmosphere of this small restaurant. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the french toast. We both felt like it was gonna be a great day based on the choices we made for breakfast!

We stopped in for breakfast which did not disappoint. There was only one server and she did an excellent job of taking care of all the tables and also handling the register. Despite all that, she was very attentive. The decor provided a light and...airy atmosphere.More

We stopped here on a long road trip. While I was in the bathroom, my three sons all were starving and ordered the "southern breakfast". Well, their eyes were too big for their stomachs. Seems even teenagers couldn't handle grits, bacon, french toast, and eggs....My daughter and I split an omelet and were easily satisfied. My husband loved the biscuits and gravy...I had the biscuit without gravy and could tell it was doused in butter. And it was delicious!More

Just a great all-around diner. Delicious breakfast and homemade sausage gravy. Great service and friendly atmosphere.

I really enjoy the meal and the family style restaurant. They served a great breakfast menu all day. The plate lunches are great variety. Price is reasonable and affordable. I would recommend to any local or visitor to the Abingdon Area. My friend Scott was...visiting from NY and wanted to go to home town diner and was very satisfied with Chicken Little.More

Went here for first time while waiting for wife to finish her appointment. Had best breakfast out in a LOOOOONG time. Very fast service from choosing to food being delivered, very friendly even though was obviously highly frequented by locals. If you love good home...cooking as much as I do make it a point to go. I will be returning as more appointments come up!!More

During our weekend in Abingdon we ate here for breakfast. Typical diner fare. Good food and the service was good.

The menu is fantastic. Too bad the food isn’t. My blueberry pancakes were greasy and there were strangely almost no pancake, just piles of blueberries. My husband had some fried green tomatoes and they were heavily breaded and tasteless. The scrambled eggs were good, bacon...was nice and crispy. Coffee was weak. I wouldn’t go back.More

The food is classic diner food, but done really well. Standouts included the grilled cheese with a slice of tomato and mayo (melt in your mouth), and the fried okra, which is the best I've had in a while. Don't expect anything avant garde, this...is good home cookin'. The ambiance is humble and welcoming, with fun Abingdon memorabilia on the walls. When I go to a diner, I expect the waiters to call me darlin' or sugar, and Chick-N-Little does not disappoint! You'll feel like a local, as probably 75% of the clientele are locals. Go to dinner at some of Abingdon's fine dining institutions, which are rightly famous, but go to breakfast or lunch at Chick-N-Little.More
