The food is classic diner food, but done really well. Standouts included the grilled cheese with a slice of tomato and mayo (melt in your mouth), and the fried okra, which is the best I've had in a while. Don't expect anything avant garde, this...is good home cookin'. The ambiance is humble and welcoming, with fun Abingdon memorabilia on the walls. When I go to a diner, I expect the waiters to call me darlin' or sugar, and Chick-N-Little does not disappoint! You'll feel like a local, as probably 75% of the clientele are locals. Go to dinner at some of Abingdon's fine dining institutions, which are rightly famous, but go to breakfast or lunch at Chick-N-Little.More
