Wow - if you are looking for a five star restaurant in Old Town this is the place to go. It is a one of a kind place and the bartender there makes the best drinks in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Great place to gather with friends. Ambiance is wonderful and the cigar bar upstairs is tuly a gem. Excellent service, great music, and attentive staff. I left a bag behind on accident with a brand new pair of shoes. When I returned to town a week later I thought I would ask about them, knowing it was a long shot.... More

Came here after staff couldn't accommodate one more person on our reservation at Jackson 20 and were pleasantly surprised! Not too busy for brunch and food was great.

The ambiance will remind you of sitting in one of the many restaurants found in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The decorations, furniture, multi-level seating and of course the food borrow heavily from creole fair. We ate on a weeknight and were seating within 5' of the only other two parties in the restaurant, as opposed to giving us... More

Two Nineteen has a new menu, an innovative chef and a spiffy new website. They are proud of their revamped array of offerings. All brunch items come with a complimentary champagne drink-a nice welcome touch. We have dined at all the King Street eateries over the years, except Two Nineteen. On a tip from a local about the new chef,... More

We went for a weekend in Alexandria and went to this cigar bar both nights we were there, love this place! They have 3 menus, cigars, food & drinks. We sat on leather couches, watched tv & had a great time with family & friends. The prices are reasonable & you can smoke cigarettes as well. We had appetizers, drinks... More

Description
Housed in a historic 19th century townhouse blocks from the waterfront, 219 has for 40 years been a beacon for the most authentic gourmet creole experience possible outside of greater New Orleans. Executive Chef Marcus Olson has taken things one step further and introduced a truly unique gourmet butcher experience--USDA Prime steaks dry-aged 21 days in house and cut to order to your exact specifications. Your meal is complemented by a 750+ bottle wine list and a massive whiskey selection. We offer private dining rooms in addition to our elegant main floor, and offer tasting menus custom-tailored to your preferences. After your meal, you can unwind in our spacious second story lounge and be entertained by world class blues music most nights of the week. Whether your taste runs towards alligator and etouffee, or to succulent aged steaks, we invite you to rediscover your favorite Old Town institution.
