This place is good. Not bad, not great. Its more like a pub than a restaurant. Large bar area and 1990s dated interior. Staff is very friendly, and service is fast, but the food is just OK. The menu is filled with southern goodies, but...More

I've been here twice and have had only beer and snacks, but I recommend it for the friendly wait and bar staff, welcoming atmosphere and the chicken wings. Attracts large crowds at happy hour. The place is easy to find (the name helps) and there...More

Cool, casual dining atmosphere. Good service. Large portions of really delicious food. We sat in one of the comfy booths during brunch. I enjoyed the chicken 🍗 & sweet potato waffles🍽

My husband and I went once for lunch and loved it so much, we went back for dinner during a 5 day vacation in DC! Highly recommend if you want classic comfort food in a casual & quiet setting.

This restaurant offers great food for family dining. The bar area is separated from the dining area which is really practical so you don’t hear the chatter from the bar area. The green fried tomatoes are the best! And the pot roast is to die...More

I love this place. It's not fancy, and not a place that every tourist will find, but it's worth a look. Simple food, a great, vibrant atmosphere, and a favorite of many locals. I drive 200 miles for the sweet potato biscuits alone. :)

After reading the reviews we were really looking forward to eating here. We had ordered three appetizers and two meals. The Mac and cheese was fabulous! Super rich and creamy and the taste of Gouda really came through which was a nice touch. The fried...More

There is a fair amount of street parking on the streets parallel to Washington, the street the restaurant is on. Parking on Washington is metered but also relatively easy to find on weekdays. I've never had a hard time... More
