Basically the food was average, but the service was poor! We asked for several things and were told they were out. It took us over 30 minutes to get our drinks and another for food! Only one server. Not going back!!!

Stopped in here for a quick bite during my travels. I got the club sandwich and coleslaw with a Pepsi. The sandwich was huge and could probably be shared between two average appetites. The coleslaw was fresh and seemed to be homemade. Service was fast...More

My husband and I were there recently & found out from the waiter that he's the only wait staff for lunchtime. For dinner they have others there, but having only 1 wait staff person made getting lunch a timely experience. We saw some folks leave...More

Amherst is a small town with a great restaurant. The term fine food definitely applies here. Don't miss the Crab Dip appetizer. I strongly recommend this place to everyone.

We went to Travelers after we finished at the courthouse. Although we arrived shortly before they opened, we were able to sit down inside (it was freezing outside). The lunch menu wasn't as big as we thought it would be, but we all found something...More

Always been a favorite of ours but took some business friends for lunch and had the worst service. Everyone ordered burgers and fries and we could not get waitress to bring us ketchup. After we asked she first went to table next to us and...More

Years ago we were regulars at Traverl's but the quality decline and so did our visits. Gave them another chance a month or so ago and the food quality is much improved. Ribeye is my favorite. Wife has enjoyed the stuffed peppers and steak salad.....More

Stopped by here with a couple of friends for lunch and found this place quite enjoyable. The service was quick, the food tasty for a small town restaurant. Parking is on the street.
