This restaurant lacks ambiance but the food makes up for it. The service is good and the prices reasonable. Easy parking in the rear of the restaurant.

Checked Tripadvisor for "restaurant near me" and Ruffinos was highly recommended. I might never have noticed it on busy Rte 29 especially because the parking is around the back. I had the Shrimp Alfredo- decadent and delicious! We also had the chicken piccata, the garlic bread with cheese, the chicken Alfredo, cheese ravioli, and pizza. Very enjoyable- a great neighborhood... More

A small (very small) Italian restaurant. Parking in the back. If you didn't know it was there you'd miss it. The food is very good. The service is OK. This is what a neighborhood place should feel like. If you want Italian and don't want the chains this is a great stop.

Small family run restaurant with a good choice of inexpensive pasta dishes. Off street parking lot is in the rear of the building.

Most importantly, for the price and menu, the wine selection is compatible. This is authentic in that you can order the pasta you prefer with the sauce you prefer. Beyond that, they have classic Italian dishes. But the best part is the atmosphere. Bring your kids, bring your grandparents, bring a date. This is a very warm and intimate place... More

We stayed at the Inns of Virginia down the street during our week trip to DC. The second night we just drove up Lee Hwy looking for someplace to eat. The little place in the middle of the block caught our attention. We greeted with exuberance as if long lost friends. Our daughter wanted to sit in the window which... More

Great Italian family restaurant atmosphere which serves standard Italian fare. My veal scallopini was acceptable but the veal did not melt in your mouth as a great scallopini should. My wife's calamari (you have to be an ethnic to love it) was properly sauted. Pasta was acceptable. Friendly service and more than welcoming to the boisterous two year old who... More

A few years back we were looking for a small homey Italian restaurant to support in our local Arlington area, and we tried Ruffino's. On the menu was ravioli with saffron. Did not enjoy the ambiance, dissatisfied with the food - it actually made me ill, and was not what I was hoping for. The name of the plan became... More

We had lunch here and we're served by Mike, the owner. Incredibly friendly and attentive. We have Chicken Parm and Chicken Francese; each was very tasty! Tiramisu for dessert was best ever. Great pricing and incredible food.
