On our way out of Anacortes, we stopped at the Donut House for a quick dessert to go. Service was good. Just had one chocolate donut and it made for a nice little dessert after a fairly big dinner. Hard to really rate a place on one donut but it was good enough for me to go back if in... More

Get the apple fritter, it's the size of a plate! The Bigfoot is good too but mostly a big maple bar.

The donuts are ginormous and delicious! I tried the almond bear claw and my husband had something with cream cheese and berries. They were both amazing. Even now back home,I'm wishing there was someway I could have another. It's a MUST when in Anacortes. Pass on the Starbucks, it will be worth it!

Having grown up in a bakery where my father's donuts were a legend in the area, this was a mandatory stop after my first visit a year earlier. I had a French Cruller and a Bavarian Cream raised donut. They were both outstanding in quality, freshness, and taste. There are no fancy frills to this place as all the emphasis... More

These donuts are so good they're sold in markets in the San Juan Islands. One of these donuts is almost a meal. Fresh & wonderful. Fortunately they sell milk & coffee to accompany the pastries. My wife likes the plain buttermilk, but I favor the fritters & bow ties.

Waked in to the shop and was treated with gloriously huge donuts. I got a blueberry fritter which I thought would have actual blueberries but it was a jelly of sorts that was oddly purple with not really a blueberry taste. I got 2 and the other was an angel cream filled donut that was ok though the impressive part... More

This is donut-lovers heaven! They are so good, that I make a point of ONLY going there when we have house guests (several times a year). Maple bars (really anything with maple icing) and bear claws are the family favorites. I can't comment on coffee or shop atmosphere as a sit-down place because we always pick up to take home.... From the outside, looks like a hole. They make donuts. Good donuts. Like, really good donuts. Nuff said. A great stop if you're early for your ferry.

We love this donut place... after living in the area for three years and then moving away (gone for 7 years) we literally compared every donut shop to this one. The building is nothing fancy, but they do have seating and more importantly: the donuts are fantastic! We live on Whidbey and will drive past the Oak Harbor donut store... More
