Discovered this excellent place by happy accident while wandering the old shopping streets. It's close to the railway station so, once you've got your bearings, it's easy enough to find. Look for the menu board on the corner of a little side street and follow...your nose! We thought it was so good we went back the next day, although we only had two nights in Kamakura and limited time to explore. The English on the menu was slightly awkward but the food was beautiful - and not expensive at all by local standards. The staff were delightful, and very helpful and eager to please. This is a place to go back to - but before 17.00 as it closes quite early!More

Restaurant is somewhere along one of the side streets and not too far from the station. Most of the set meals are around 1000 yen, and it tastes good. There are a lot of varieties to choose from the menu and we don't have to...wait long to get a seat.More

The first time we ate here we followed a group of older school children, who seemed to know where they were going. It’s down a small side street. Good food at a great price. It is always busy. We had to wait the second time...we came. Nice place for lunch. Not far from the train station. Udon was pretty good.tempera was OK. Fast service.More
