My wife and I had dinner here after a Pampas tour. The food really lived up to expectations. My wife had the Fish Curry and me the Pepper Steak which was tender and cooked to my liking amd came out hot. Try this place out you wont be disappointed. Thanks Paul for an really nice meal

I came back twice for the fish curry and ice cold beer. Paul is an Australian ex Pat who has been in Rurre for 17 years. He knows the land and is a very easy going guy and a great source of info besides having the best fish curry I've ever tasted anywhere including Asia.

There is a lot of great food in Rurre. But El Nomadico is the best. The food is fantastic both in taste and presentation. I went back many times. Options available for vegetarians, but they specialize in fish. They cook in traditional jungle style with food wrapped in banana leaves. The owner is great and helpful and speaks fluent English... We had a very pleasant dinner at this restaurant and would love to come back. We had the fish curry and it is a good as others have said! we also had the quinoa lasagna with chicken, espectacular. My husband had the pico y macho (I've no idea how to spell that!) and liked it very much, someone else ordered... More

Visited here on our first night in Rurrenbaque to try the highly recommended fish curry- spoke about it everyday on our pampas tour and stayed another night instead of getting the evening bus so we could try it again (with our entire tour group in tow) Amazing Thai type flavours - a must try

You can find the restaurant by looking for the giant sign on calle Averoa then following the alley. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. I had the fish and chicken curries with mash and they were delicious. The cocktails are also very nice.

Really fresh and tasty, best meal we have had and maybe will have in Bolivia! It's a bit hard to find because it's not marked correctly on here and it's down a little ally, so maybe ask someone. We had the fish curry and the chicken curry and would definitely recommend both. Compared to some other restaurants in the town,... More

Girlfriend friend and I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of our brilliant pampas guide as he said the local fish dish there was fantastic and he did not lie. All three of us had the curried fish wrapped in large banana type leaves and all three of us walked out full and well satisfied. Would recommend in a... More

I don't know what to add that others haven't! The fish curry here is simply sublime, the cocktails are cheap and tasty and the beer is indeed incredibly cold. We went back a second time and almost ordered the curry again but went for the lasagna, one veggie, one chicken. Though the dish was more like a bake than a... More
