The food was good, waitress (Melissa) excellent! It's the same down there as it was 30 years ago ............ a good thing? a bad thing? No updating to speak of.

Out of a party of five, two had the perch dinner, two had the crab cakes. All four said it was very good and they were pleased. Unfortunately, I ordered the "Baja fish tacos".... which sounded good. Except they were cold, and frankly, very little cod. When I raised my concern to the waitress, who was quite nice, she took... More

I love a great brew pub, and this one is one of the best. The restaurant has several seating areas including cozy rooms and a lively bar area. The beer selection was interesting, we tried the 7-grain, which was delicious and paired well with the food we chose. We also tried the pilsner, which was lighter and refreshing. The crabcake... I was introduced to Stone Arch Brewpub for a business dinner. The restaurant is in the basement of an old brick building in downtown Appleton. The selection of beer was vast and the menu was extremely diverse. They had everything from alligator bites to elk burgers. I ordered their IPA only to be disappointed that they did not have any.... We took customers out in the Stone Arch Brewpub and enjoyed ourselves very much. Great home-brew selection. I had the alligator bits for starter and the lamb shank as the main dish. Lamb was fantastic for my taste buds. Great service, nice people and also pretty good value for money. $200 for 6 of us.

Stone Arch has a wide variety of all types of good food, and their beer is excellent. The atmosphere is intimate with a big city feel, like you're downtown old Chicago. We will definitely come back.
