Restaurant directly at the beach. Cozy atmosphere with live Brazilian music (at least on the night we were there). I heard their shrimp bobó was very good and I can certainly back that statement.

We had shrimps here, and they were very tasty. The caipirinhas were also very good. There was live music the night we were there. Location on the beach, feet in the sand...

Idyllic beach front location. Very romantic spot. Bit tricky to find, especially after dark, but worth it. Book early to ensure a good seat out front, as it gets busy around 8. We ate the mixed seafood moqueca for 2. It was very good. Fair price. Cocktails ok. Live music was excellent. Service was inattentive and slow, but that seemed... More

This was our final dinner in Brazil after almost 3 weeks of traveling, so we knew we wanted it to be good. We got this recommend from a couple of Canadian tourists we met along the way, plus it had come up on my TripAdvisor search prior to arrival... so I guess at that point we knew it was love?... More

The food is so good. We ate shrimp with rice and potatoes with my girlfriend, and it was amazing. The waiter called Cristian was so nice because he explained us everything.

Eating on the beach is always a treat, lua e mar is a good option if you want to get away from the busy town centre in ilha grande. Great place with a lovely stew called mista and then something. We ordered a half plate, supposedly for 1 person, and a salad and we had plenty. So don't order too much! Prices are quite high, western standards.

Amazing location in a quite spot away from the Main Street, only a few minutes walk down the beach. So quiet and peaceful, great music, candle-lit dinner. Amazing seafood dishes - extremely large portions so we shared a meal and still couldn't finish it!. Amazing food, reasonable price especially when sharing. Will be going back again!

This place is the worst restaurant ever. The food is way too expensive and people are horrible. I was there with my friends, and one of them is a black person. The waiter was racist with him and did not want to give him the menu. It was horrible. Just do not go to this place !!!

Lua e Mar is right on the beach near Abrao town. It is very peaceful and the food is delicious. The portions are large.Try the famous Moqueca de peixe while sipping Caipirinhas!
