The restaurant is a bit hidden and not on the main Copacabana tourist streets but well worth a visit. We had fish and a very good white wine. The fish dishes are quite large and can be shared. The service is very friendly and good. Overall we can highly recommend the restaurant mainly for the seafood dishes and if you... More

we tried this off the beaten path restaurant and it was well worth it! We had a big lunch and we looking for a light dinner. We ordered a hearts of palm salad and a fish dish family style for two (though there were four of us) and we had food left over! The salad was simple - hearts of... More

The restaurant was a ten minute walk from our hotel at Copacabana. It's fairly a small, clean and has a comfortable local look to it. When we arrived it took a minute or so to set up the table and we were led inside. The waiter was friendly, attentive and also spoke English and Spanish which helped since the menu... More

Delicious cod croquettes, especially never having tried them before, and great choices with the half portions of House octopus and a cod entree (it came topped with chips and this delicious creamy cheese sauce). This was the perfect amount of food for three given that the half portions were pretty large. Be prepared to wait though, since the place was... More

Visited this little charming restaurant in December. We ordered 2 cod half portions dishes rather than one portion to share as we wanted to try different flavours. The half portions were quite large, truly delicious and full of flavours. Service was great too. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We went to this restaurant as we read a lot of good reviews. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good, the waitress was very friendly. We liked the way they serve food but to be honest if we knew it in advance, we would probably order only one dish because we were not very hungry and it would be enough... More

I had the opportunity of visit this place during my trip to brasil and was the worst experience in my stay in this country because the person in the reception has a bad actitude. When I ask for a place for eat inside the restaurant he closed me the door in my nose then during waiting time I stayed whole... More

This is a really great Portuguese restaurant. During our recent month long trip to Brazil we ate here on three occasions, once as a party of 9, once as a party of 6, and once as a couple, and on every occasion the experience was wonderful. Every dish we tried was excellent, and the three bacalhau dishes I tried better... More

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
