The restaurant is located on the top of a hill so you have a great view from the tables (usually outside and under huts). The food is typically Brazilian so expect just that. Quality is very good and service friendly. If you are in the area go for it.

Went there on a recommendation - food was delicious and felt fairly authentic. Views and the location at the top of the hill were excellent - we were there for lunch but have heard sunset is amazing there. Would recommend their Palm heart as an appetizer, and the Lamb was excellent!

There is nothing special about the place... You just end up spending so much for taxi fare & fancy food... There's a view, but, you cannot take a good pic of it as they just over accessorized the place... I would not recommend for tourists just for the simple fact that it takes too much of your time to get... More

The place is amazing the staff is friendly and polite. The food was really good too the only thing is the time it takes for anything to come to the table.. from drinks, staters, main course and deserve. The place wasn't even full so I can't understand this timings.

It's really a beautiful restaurant in a nice and confortable area. But no worthy the hight prices and poor service. Te food was kind of simple for the price, the waiters left dirt dish in the table for more than a hour, they retreat dishes from place where I told my friends would sit and they didn't provide the cake... I thought the place just got too popular and too big to find it special. Food was not bad but nothing great either except you pay a lot. I didn't find it charming at all as it just felt too huge and happened to be located with great views. That is if you can get the right table. Wish we... More

Great view of downtown, amazing menu and local beer! I just love the decoration there. Rustic, wood chairs, nice light!

I had the rice with chicken, which is supposedly their best dish, and I found it slightly above average but nothing to write home about. For about $30 USD per person you can eat much better in Rio de Janeiro.

Staying in Santa Teresa

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
