I love going to this restaurant. It's a few minutes past a beautiful beach and it has an absolutely gorgeous view. The beer is cold and the caipirinhas are of a good size. The food is ok, fairly expensive for what it is. Sadly they covered an area that was previously outside, where little monkeys used to come down and... More

Nice view, great atmosphere but seafood was horrible. Not fresh at all, looks like it was left over previous day. Natural juices were with water, would say 30% water minimum. Have been twice and went there for view and atmosphere but definitely not for food...

I enjoy the food and the views but think it is rather pricy for what yiu get. The staff does a good job and it's a great place for a special meal or to take out of town guests.

My wife and I went to the restaurant with Brazilian friends. It was a very nice and relaxing restaurant. The service is good and food is excellent. They specialize in seafood.

Great seafood, and the perfect place to see the sunset over the restinga da marambaia after a day at the beach.

This place was worth the drive. A colleague brought me here during a visit to Rio in October. The weather was perfect, the guitar player on stage played great music at the right volume, and the food was spectacular. The service there was also very pleasant. Worth a visit for the view alone.

This restaurant is located about half an hour from Praia do Pepê in Barra da Tijuca. It is actually a nice drive to make since you get to see other local popular beaches ("Prainha" is a nice one). Also, you pass the "reserva", which is a special preserved area with lots of vegetation a and a lake. This is one... More

The view from the dining area is superb and a wide variety of fresh seafood is on offer but the restaurant is a little pricey; however, you are getting a decent feed.

The views can't be beat -- the fish was good, the codfish fritters excellent, great juice. If you want to go to a real local place, this is it.

Really enjoyed the place. It is very laid back and the seafood was very food. I will be returning. The service was excellent and the beer ice cold.

Thank Chris C
