Visited Yalla last night and it was a welcome change from the otherwise quite same-y cuisine of Leblon (pizza, pasta, meat etc). Yalla doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is great. The tasting menu is good value for money (for 2 or 4 ppl) and you get a lot of food. We loved the baba ganoush,... More

Nice, simpler in a busy street. Not many seats but fast service. Felt like a family restaurant. Choose the tasting menu that displays a nice selection of the menu.

Having grown up with arabic food and spent a year in Lebanon, the food presented at the restaurant was quite embarrassing. Sure, have you never tried arabic food, go there and get a feeling for it. However, if you really like arabic food, save yourself the disappointment and spend your time and money somewhere else!

This is a honest restaurant, good food, variety of dishes, menu always have something new but the service is way off. I come here often and I never leave without complaining about the service, really poor ... but since it is the closest location for where I live and the food is good, I always give second, third...forth chance. Arabian food with a touch of our occidental-modern life. A very good choice of menu. They have special prices for executive/lunch dishes.

Very good Middle eastern fare in a cozy setting. The appetizers were the best, flaky cheese and potato puffs. Friendly staff, great service.

I was a bit disappointed from the food here. The Hummus was good, but the Shawarma was only average. For dessert, the "Arab Sweet" was way too sweet. The service is correct and the servers were a little lazy. Worth a visit. Not expensive.

The place is very small and cozy, but it is very well located. The food is very good, especially lunch menu combos, wich give you a better bang for the buck.

We had dinner at Yalla and it was great. Good Lebanese mezze and meat. Staff didn't speak English, but we managed well :-)
