I went there by myself for a couple of drinks and a snacks. The place is very cosy and welcoming. They also have an outside space. My caipirinhas was very good and my mushroom sandwich was excellent (the small one is enough for lunch...). Would recommend if you just want to chill or read a book.

Food ok / mediocre but attitude of staff appalling. Slow. Forgot half of our order. Got irritated even eye rolled when we asked about it.

The best coffee and breakfast spot in Santa Teresa. Great local spot with a great view of the Main Street below. Excellent service. Wonderful way to start your day.

Great place to stop for coffee and cake. Service a bit slow but who cares when you're on holiday, sitting on a lovely patio being entertained by a singer. Recommended.

Great location, great coffee, great cakes and food but let down by poor service. I tried this twice to see whether our fiurst experience was a one-off but it wasn't. If you have the time it will be great.

We stopped here for brunch one morning. Unforunately, they were out of a lot of items. We ended up with a roast beef sandwich which was very tasty. The cappuccino was not so good, way too many clumps of cinnamon. However the patio is lovely area to sit on, very relaxing & worth a visit.

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Teresa
Santa Teresa is a bohemian enclave hosting many local artists’ studios. The narrow, winding streets of this neighbourhood were revitalised years ago, and visitors can now stroll through this area to view magnificent mansions dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. A highlight not miss: Museu Chacará do Céu, a former mansion turned museum which houses works by prominent Brazilian modern artists.
