There are some restaurants which need urgently some help to get out of the bottom. Via 44 is one of those. Everything we ordered was below average and the prices, quite the opposite, very high. You have lots of other better options for considerably less. I don't recommend.

Looking for a good italian food in Rio? This the place to go. Just a few tables but the food is just perfect. That's maybe the reason why the cariocas go there!

The worst restaurant we've been so far, the toilets are not clean and the smell that comes out of there you can feel it when you are eating. The food is terrible, they should be more careful with the quality rather than amount. The dishes are broken, and the tables area are dirty. Too expensive for the food and the... More

Enticed in by the interesting menu we opted for the Fruite De Mare for two at 90 Reals. A nice bottle of cold red wine complimented the dish which had plenty of seafood. Reasonably priced for this area I would recommend you give it a try.

Small, just a few tables but the food has a very good price and it is one of the best in Rio, Try the frito misto and the "pastel de camarao" as an entry, Cold beer, little wine selection but a hit among locals

it is a small restaurant, with a good food, but the service is so so, and the tables are really close among them. I tried a plate for two: fried fish with a celery and mushroom risotto. Really tasteful. The service is not so good. It is not because the staff does not want to do their best, but because... More

Pricey for what it is.. maybe if every think on the menu was half the price it would justify the very average food. Unfortunately though the standards here a pretty low along with expectations which explains why its packed every lunch time. Food was edible and the wine list was fairly priced I felt but you have to remember this... More

We ate lunch here as many other restaurants in the area were busy. The pasta was delicious and we all had very generous servings. It was good to have some different options for lunch in brazil rather than steak, rice and chips. The seafood ordered by other diners looked delicious!

We tried this place because it looked like a traditional style Italian place from the outside and we just happened to be nearby. The food was woeful. The Balinhos entree we're still frozen in the centre and the pasta we had was awful. - all three of us had pasta and despite choosing different dishes the sauce was identical (very... More
