Great place for cheep lunch . We had 4 types of pastry/wraps and a soft drink for around $10. Nice to try different food: e.g. Cabbage meat roll with garlic rice. Spinach quiche, Falafels , kofta wraps,

Really excellent food, verify typical! Coalhada com pepino is incredible! Very good price for the food comparing to general restaurants in Copacabana!

If you are in vicinity of copacabana comercial center, this place i highly recomend for a quick but very tasty lunch or snack at extreemly low price. No wonders it gets bussy atound noon. You can also get take out service. The traditional sweets were one of the best i have tried.

This place has been at galeria menescal for decades and maintains the quality, the constant queues will tell you! They make quibes (beef and wheat grain loaf), esfihas, (delicious triangles filled with cheese, spinach, beef, etc..) and its open variety. It's a place to grab and go as it is really tiny but definitely worth a trip! Btw, this Galeria... More

The place is located inside an old galery Called Galeria Menescal that connects Ave. Nossa Senhora de Copacabana 664 with Barata Ribeiro Street. The kibe is my favorite but the other options are also very good. Don't miss the sweets. There are only a few precarious seems and most people eat standing ore take it out to eat somewhere else.... It is a quite ok place. I wouldnt say this place has the flavours of traditional lebanese food but it is cheap and worth it if you want to try something new. It is popular and a very small place. And it is very full there during lunch

There is nothing fancy about Baalbek. This small restaurant has been in the same place for the last 50 or so years. This alone provides evidence for its food. Local flock to it to have a warm esfiha (oven baked pastries filles with ricotta, spinach, beef, or chard. It's also great for standing lunch or for getting a takeaway.

This small quick eat restaurant is located in a shopping arcade and serve traditional Lebanese dishes such as kebbeh, sfiha and manaish. Was very busy/popular.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
