Nice selection of dessert for breakfast. Good service only problem was flush of the toilet that was not working. Very suggested

I spent an hour walking the streets behind Copacabana Beach before finding this little gem. It's in a relatively quiet road close to the beach. I had coffee and home made chocolate cake - delicious! Other pastries were on offer, both sweet and savoury. I'll definitely be heading back there.

If you wanna live carioca's morning style in Rio, this is a great place to start! You can have a macchiato and a "misto" (ham and "meia cura" cheese), and your day will begin with an amazing energy in Copacabana.

"Mistake" in the bill increasing it from 30 to 40 reais. Got scrambled eggs, croissant with brie, pastel de nata and cappuccino. Food tastes good, serving poor.

Had a breakfast of Duplo (double espresso), basket of warm bread with a plate of ham, cheese and strawberry jam. Great coffee, simple and delicious brekky. There was much more available which also looked very tempting. Think I might go back very soon!!

We loved this place for the nice coffee, the friendly service and the quirky decor. It was great to sit outside and watch the world go by on the street. It's just a stone throw away from the Av. Аtlantico but it is peaceful at the same time. Recommend it.

Breakfast here is just what you need before a day of exploring all that Rio has to offer. The bread is crisp but doughy, the meat and cheese of good quality, juices are natural, service is amiable and coffee is executed perfectly. We can here every morning for four days and were not disappointed once. We also dropped in to... More

I came to Rio from Australia for a business trip and I heard that the coffee there was the best in the city. They were right!! After few days in Brazil I was missing the Australian way of coffee. Mauro (the barista) lived in Australia for years and learnt how to make the best coffee ever. Apart from the food... More

The best place for breakfast on the copacabana. Fresh homemade croissants, bread, cake. Lovely papayas and very good coffee. A must visit when you're in the neighbourhood!

Stopped here for coffee on a Saturday afternoon while waiting for the Av Atalantica markets (Copacobana Fair) to open. And it was really good quality, we had Espresso (6 Reals) in a fairly large cup with extra water on the side (i.e. a long black!) Good Coffee Option

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
