Excellent food and nice `forro` to dance. From the outside you can`t tell but there is good service and very cold beer.

Enormous portions of northeastern food and it is delicious. Great place where you cannot only eat but dance as well. Relaxed atmosphere, free dance classes (Forro) if you want to have some fun. The restaurant is simple, so it is not really that romantic.

Delicious Northeastern food in huge portions! Relaxed atmosphere, nice music, free dance classes for those who dare to step on the dance floor. The restaurant is simple, therefore I would recommend it for those who look for an authentic place rather than romantic atmosphere. Service excellent! A bit pricey.

A very local and typical atmosphere in a simple but lively environment. Simple but excellent house food in huge portions. Excellent balance quality/ price. Very few tourists, mostly locals that go there for the good food and for dancing too. A little orchestra playing the typical sound of the Northeast and many people dancing. A must do in a group... It's a simple restaurant, with a good environment and excellent food. If you want to know more about Brazilian food (mainly northeastern food), you will have to visit this place. Look for the schedule in their website, because sometimes there is "forró", and it is great!

Staying in Pinheiros

Neighbourhood Profile
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighbourhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centres and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
