Gopala Hari is only open for lunch and it is always crowded, for good reason. The food, vegetarian with a strong Indian twist, is excellent and quite reasonably priced. I had a combo that included a salad, main course (four cheese artichoke lasagna) with two sides, dessert, and a grapefruit-based drink (bottomless) for 39 BRL (about 13 USD). When you... More

It's no wonder this place is the top rated in a town with so much choices to eat at. We came in for an early light lunch before we were headed out of town and this place is absolutely perfect. Located right in Palermo it is easy to find and get to. We went in early so we had no... More

The place is cozy and nice, not fancy. Few options on the menu but always well seasoned food. All vegetarian.

Although not Indian owned, this restaurant offers vegetarian Indian dishes, carefully prepared. It's often crowded, so be ready to wait at peak hours (from 13 to 14:00).

Easy, as there are only two courses to choose, daily changed. Quick service, good food. Enough to satisfy all senses.

We queued with many others up and down the stairs of this restaurant awaiting our table, sipping very tasty teas provided free. The place has so many rooms all atmospheric. The meal itself was simple and vegetarian consisting of a salad, main meal and dessert (which should be eaten first apparently). We ordered a large meal which was actually more... More

Nice price, great taste, simple menu. Everyday they have two options and you can ask 1/2 of each, small ou big portions. One of my favorite places in São Paulo, near Paulista Avenue.

Staying in Consolacao

Neighbourhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical centre of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
