I met a friend here for a few chopes on a layover in Sao Paulo. Bar Brahma has a nice patio that has around 20-25 tables outside. It's a standard Brazilian patio where drinks in bar food are served in a lively environment. On the inside, it looks like it has been renovated because it has a nicely restored retro... More

The draft beer is good but the menu is very limited and over-priced. Compared with the pizza we had yesterday the one we had tonight was very mean. The service was good and the live music reasonable. But on the whole i was very disappointed. It stands on the famous corner of the Ipiranga and São João.

Nice music, rustic environment but it's a must see spot in Sao Paulo. Home of one of the best Chopp (draft beer) in the city, it also brings very nice music (mostly Samba , but somewhere around it is also played in the house. Slightly expensive but it's worth the visit.

Looking for an honest restaurant with good service and fair prices? Keep walkin'! This horrendous little establishment saw us coming from a mile away. Went down at around 9pm because we saw there was live music inside. Walked in, asked the bouncer if there was a cover, and we were delighted to hear there was none. He understood our question... Stopped for a quick lunch; average buffet, payment on kg basis, little overpriced. Intrigued by advertisements for live music we returned two evenings in the row but obviously we haven't read them properly :-)). There was no action when we were there. Maybe next time.

The food is a little overpriced and not so special and the atmosphere was a little blah, until the live music started and then the whole scene picked up! Full of Brazilians dancing and celebrating birthdays, and a band with great energy and oomph for a Sunday night - really happy we went.

A very traditional bar in down-town area of Sao Paolo. The place is renowned for its live music. Went on a Wednesday night and the band was playing 'música sertaneja'. It was a very lively place and everyone was having fun. The band room was large and could easily accommodate a big group of people (100s) A full bar that... More

Following our agent and other recommendations expectations from Bar Brahma were high. Unfortunately this evening turned into real disappointment. Starting with wrong information provided on the phone regarding timing of live music performance made us come very early to the restaurant. The food quality was below average and I would recommend avoiding any fish dish from their menu. The music... More

The filet sandwich was excellent with an order of fries (typical). We stopped for lunch and all were happy with their orders (hamburgers, salads etc.)
