We arrived at the restaurant at 2:50. The waitress came to our table pretty late. We ordered soup and second course. The soup arrived at 3:35 ... 45 minutes just to eat a soup. The soup was not bad but could be better. After that, the second dish came ... wiener schitzel and potatoes. The potatoes were almost burned and... More

Real good food. There is a nice choice of Bulgarian and Mediterranean dishes. Great local wine. The service was impeccable and prices were more than acceptable. A great dinner. Higly recommended.

We booked a reservation here at the suggestion of our Walking Tour guide and we were not disappointed. At the time, it was the 2nd best restaurant in V.T. and it earned that spot. The inn was built in 1858 for Hadji Nikoli , a famous Turnovo tradesman and independent activist for the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. The architect of the... More

Service was poor and slow but the worst part of the visit at Hadji Nikoli Inn restaurant was that the food was terrible. I ordered beef stroganoff and could not eat it because the meat was too chewy and tasted bad. My husband took roasted lamb and it was mainly lamb fat and hardly any meat with it, salad with... More

The food is not that special, but you can eat delicious food. The staff is polite and friendly and each day we have discounts for eating at the Hadji Nikoli Inn. It is a busy place, and sometimes they forget about your order. It is normal for the food to take around 20-30 minutes to arrive, but the food is... More
