I went with my family around 5:30pm because we hadn't had lunch. It was so good ! We asked for an appetizer and for several plates (because we were 9 persons and all of us like to try all of the plates) and everything was delicious. Totally a place to recommend. Although it is expensive if your a college student... More

We had a nice couples dinner overlooking the beach and the waves coming in on the shore of La Serena. We found the seafood at Bakulic to be very enjoyable, good customer service, and such a scenic setting. On our next return to La Serena we hope to dine there again!

Nice terrace by the beach. Fancier inside. Outside very good meat empanadas (oven), corn dishes and other local delicacies. Cannot compare to the MANY others in the area as we did only stop here. But it was good.

I have been here three times in my life due to being invited to some sort of business related dinner event...I have felt ill all three times. Maybe they are better just serving lunch, but I wouldn't bet on it!

We stayed within walking distance of this restaurant and, although, wasn't in the mood for seafood, wanted a nice sit-down meal nearby. I can't remember the name of the meal, however, it was a Ceviche marinated in coconut milk and ginger (very similar to the Tahitian specialty Poisson cru). It was the BEST thing I ate in Chile! Everything we... More

This was a wonderful place to have dinner with the family. We arrived in town after a 7 hour bus ride and were greeted by the most incredible view from our table - the sunset over the Pacific Ocean.

We went there for a quick sandwich and it took FOREVER, the sandwiches were pre-made and we thought it would take justa couple of minutes to bring it to our table. Turned out the cashier didn't know how to operate the credit card machine and after 15 mins of waiting, I went up there to inquire about our sandwiches and... More

Is what I had as starter. Interesting! The conger eel my husband and his colleague had for a main course was very good and so was my sea bass. The wine recommendation by the owner was excellent and the Pisco Sour had been of a good quality.

Another restaurant on the beach in La Serena so the view is always going to be wonderful. I had the steak, chips with 2 fried eggs. The steak was overcooked (but my Spanish ain't that good) and one egg was overcooked and the other undercooked ... so, on average, it was fine. It has a nautical theme so lots of... More

I posted a fairly negative review about a year ago, based mostly upon an unfortunate interaction with one waiter. We did not intend to return to Bakulic, but were in the area to go to Tololo Beach on a Sunday night, and it was closed, so we decided to give Bakulic another try. The service this time was excellent. Good... More
