Breakfast was a disappointment each morning with cold coffee, scrambled eggs one could swim in and "crisp" bacon that was barely cooked. Other items, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts were fine and the breads were excellent.

We ate here twice while staying at Hotel Cumbres and absolutely loved it. The staff was excellent and very friendly (even though they didn't speak much English we were able to communicate just fine). The food was superb - especially the quinoa appetizer, the lamb shank, the salmon and the beef dishes. Highly recommended.

Loved the great balance between local products and the great technique of the kitchen, good wine list as well, lovely service. WOULD only check the background music! good volume but we made a bet it was only 2 CDs they had...

Very good restaurant in Cumbres Hotel near San Pedro de Atacama. Service is good. Good wines and a very interesting menu. If you stay in Cumbres try it once.

We ate breakfast, one dinner and two lunches. Food is ok, but not too special. If you're looking for more fine cuisine this wouldn't be the place to eat. Service: they are friendly, some waiters need to improve efficiency and speed, but since you are on vacation this doesn't really matter ;-)

We stayed at the Kunza Hotel in December and enjoyed the property and experience. The restaurant itself isn't bad, but you can order delicious sandwiches for a lot less money at the bar.

Since the Kunza hotel is on the outside of town, it's not very convenient for guests to go elsewhere for dinner so may dine at the hotel as we did. Everything is buffet style and the variety changes daily for dinner. Breakfast selection is pretty stable. We tried many items from barbeque to fish to pasta and everything was pretty... More

The Hoteles Cumbres' Executive Chef, Diego Duran, with direction from acclaimed Summit Hotels Chef, Claudio Ubeda, has elevated the Hotel Cumbres San Pedro de Atacama dining experience with five-star cuisine created from the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Each dish served is a union of modern culinary technique and ancient desert cooking traditions.

Lunch and dinner menus feature a daily "Tip of the Chef," which contains three dishes specially recommended by the Chef.

On Saturdays from 19:30 to 22:30, the restaurant offers a barbecue featuring a selection of meats - including Palo Lamb on request - a fresh salad bar and a dessert buffet.

Private dinners and cocktail receptions can be arranged for groups of 30 or more.

Along with a wine cellar containing more than 50 of Chile's best wines, both bars feature signature cocktails mixed with local herbs like rikarika, chanar and coca leaves.
