Great food and service, restaurant is tired needs a make over, it is also very crowded. Seats are not very comfortable. Owners need to stop by Perrys or Ruth Chris for a true dining experance.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Highlands in early February. The ambience was delightful and our waiter helped make the evening one to remember. Food was incredible and cocktail menu was a great mixture of classics and house created delights.

Excellent food supplemented by excellent service. Since the menu is always changing what we enjoyed may not be available when you visit. For appetizers we had the beef tartine, a mushroom ragu and a beet salad. For entrees we had the sweetbreads and sea bass....More

Had a lovely dinner here - at our second attempt. It doesn't open on Sunday when we were last in town. Very 'buzzy' lively atmosphere and wonderful southern style food. Would return if ever we are back in Birmingham. Highly recommended.

The restaurant women’s bathroom is up a flight of stairs , and I’m not sure if there is an elevator or an additional downstairs bathroom (I didn’t look for one). I would call the restaurant and ask them.
