I like Chinese food but at a certain point I missed some western food...The banana pancakes are exceptional, the fried banana is a great dessert, and the fresh juices always hit the spot. Lucy is what makes the place though. She is a wonderful person who..

I ordered the fried rice with vegetables and it was absolutely great. It's a shame that during the night the music of the live shows is so loud you can't sit in the first floor. For some reason the people in Dali and in many other parts of China think that loud music will attract tourists. Maybe it's true with... More

Food was tasty and we loved the fried noodles recommended by the lady staff. Price was reasonable as well. Nice ambience and friendly and helpful staff.

This is a pleasant enough place situated right on The Old Town Shopping strip. Not overly large but there is seating outside the establishment which tends to be a good spot to watch the world go by. Service was very good although there was very little English spoken by the staff. Cuisine offered is both Chinese or Western (Pizza) Our... More

We ate twice at this ethnic restaurant in Dali old town. It's an authentic style building with lots of atmosphere. Although quite small inside there's also room to sit outside with your meal watching the locals go by. The first night we ate a traditional Chinese buffet which was excellent, the second night we had Yak steak which was surprisingly... More

I have never eaten yak before so was curious to try it. The steaks were very tender and juicy and I enjoyed them a lot. Strange that they were served a lettuce leaves but.... There are outside tables and upstairs as well. A pleasant place to eat.

We spent 3 weeks in China and actually the restaurant was nothing special. However, the two days we spent in Dali, we did not find any better place so you can't go wrong going here. If you do, you should definitely order the "Yak steak" which a friend had and which was really amazing as I could try a bit.... More

I went there with my friend who ordered a yak meat steak. I had oily fries. The steak was certainly pressed meat. You can buy this frozen online and it will arrive in a large plastic bag. I am wondering of they are selling yak meat or something factory made from the east coast since for the low price of... More

I followed the advice of somebody on trip advisor and also the advice of the owner who warmly suggested me the yak steak. I am not a meat eater and I had tried the yak in Tibet and found it very tough. The steak at the Yunnan cafe was incredibly tender and very tasty. The place is simple but quite... More

My friend and I wanted to have another yak burger since we loved our first try in Songpan, Sichuan. We just stopped at this place after walking around the old town streets. The burger was really good, the burger patty was a little thin but also went over the buns so it was a good portion. The bun was fresh,... More
