Why are there not more reviews on here? Very strange! The best meal in Hvar. The service was fantastic, we were given complimentary bubbles and a complimentary sharing platter when seated. The steak which my husband had was one of the best steaks he ever had and it was cooked on the open fire and massive! The salmon and green pasta was some of the best pasta I ever had. Really really great please come here, felt a lot less commercial than some of the other tourist traps in Hvar.

We visited the restaurant on New Year's Eve in a group of friend. They prepared a great seafood dinner for us, which also included lobster, toothfish and excellent local red vine from the south side of the island. The dinner was not expensive, everyone was very friendly. In the end, the owner told us interesting stories from his youth and gave us three bottles of sparkling wine to celebrate the New Year on the Hvar square, where was a party with life. We will definitely come again.

Restaurant to be avoided! I am sorry to write such a negative review but this place can only be regarded as a rip- off and those running it have no clue what they are doing. When sitting down you are served a glass of sparkling wine immediately without explanation. After a while, when ordering, you will get the explanation that it’s part of the couvert fee together with an entrée for two of mixed seafood. They will charge you 60 kunas p/p for this that you didn’t choose or had a chance of asking questions about beforehand. The entrée was actually okey but we felt tricked and it’s not nice to force a menu on your guests. Comes the mains where my husbands lamb chops were absolutely inedible, chewy and full of pure fat with no meat. My tagliatelle was overcooked and bland. We left with hardly having eaten anything and 450 kunas poorer.

Horrible! Bad food, the waiter was very, very unfriendly. Of the 6 red wines that were offered on the menu, there was only the most expensive. Shameful wine glasses. More than 1 hour of waiting and only two occupied tables. Pasta. with very dry and tasteless seafood. Mixed bland grilled meat... a piece of chicken and little else. They didn't even come to ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee. Total... 85 euros. Don't trust the comments positives.

Restaurant is located in tinny street next to main square, behind stone wall, we like privacy, not to eat outside or on square. Delicious meal, fish plate everything fresh well prepared. Price normal for what we get. Recommended

The small terrace has a lot of charm but this is nothing compared to the quality and friendliness of the welcome. We had very tasty and delicious lobster pasta. Each dish was the result of real attention with more than generous portions. Without doubt our best Croatian culinary experience!

A wonderful experience! Incredible funny old men running this restaurant. And the Chef…🤣 We had live music, nice lobster and seafood pasta, great wine but most importantly we laughed all night. A highlight in Hvar🥰

Exceptional restaurant. Best of the four we've ever had dinner on. The place is lovely, in a courtyard in the old town. The food is excellent and with original recipes and ingredients. looks from the outside like the cook the kitchen at the time. The pasta is extraordinary, the seafood mussels with garlic and bread typical of Croatia, meat and grilled fish from a fireplace. Excellent and attentive service from the waitresses. Excellent kitchen. Very rich everything. Fish, pasta or risotto. Also unmissable is the chocolate soufle with vanilla ice cream. We went twice. Also the attention is warm, diligent, friendly.
