Decently cheap prices, good food, recommend the kuntumrie (palava sauce), also try out the organic pineapple juice! Service is good and it's a place mostly frequented by tourists. I was sceptical to the whole place because it was a vegan restaurant but don't let that scare you! Profit also go towards community related projects so you're supporting a good cause... More

Baobab is a good place for food in Cape Coast where the choice is limited. Portion sizes are very big. We close local dishes which might be safer than continental. The money all goes to a very good cause, and there is a little shop as well.

Baobab has nice vegan food and a range of delicious drinks. There is an attached shop and accommodation. It's great to see they have their own organic garden and contribute towards local development projects. We ate here several times and the is a small but nice outdoor seated area. It is located close to Cape Coast Castle

Maybe we were just not lucky but it seems that they need to improve their cooking. We left some food even we were hungry. They have a nice project going on so to support this it is maybe better to buy something from the shop

I ordered a cream souce spaghetti, but tastes difference. If you are non-veg, I recommend an ordinary restaurant.

Came here one night and had some delicious fried yam balls with palava sauce for very cheap with fab service. But also nice to know that some of the money you spend on your meal also goes to the charity that they run. If we had time we would have gone back again!

Nice terrace with a good selection of food and excellent juices. Lemminggrass tea. Interesting souvenirs for sale like batiks made in house. The desserts, are not sweet. I'm pretty sure chocolate cake includes some sugar, even if vegan... Honey?

Ate here several times. Food is more reasonably priced than at oasis and is good. Love the moringa juice, the fact that they have brown rice, the yam balls, etc. They also offer accommodation. All proceeds supposedly support the foundation. Near the castle and in town so it's convenient albeit not on the beach. Rooms do have sea views.

I visited Baobab to try something new; it was, actually, my first visit to a vegetarian restaurant. I wasn't disappointed at all. Food is healthy too: I tried their yam balls as well as their pineapple and moringa juice. It was great!!! I'll recommend this place to anyone

The small Vegetarian Restaurant is the perfect place to rest during your visit in Cape Coast. It lies between the Castle and the Market amidst the busy town. Our patio, built in traditional style, has a nice view over the sea and the busy Commercial Street. Friendly students of our school learn catering, cooking and practice their English. Together with our cook Christie, the students prepare delicious healthy vegetarian meals, snacks and juices. Our dishes with fresh tofu, soy and wheat chunks or oyster mushrooms are the specialty of our restaurant. Vegetable Pies, Banana Cakes and Coconut Cakes are all made with whole-wheat flour. Fresh Pineapple-Moringa Juice, Bisap or Ginger Juice are a must if you visit the Baobab Vegetarian Moringa Restaurant. All vegetables we use are washed in saltwater and many come from the school-owned Organic Farm.
