This restaurant is a stones throw from the Moonlight exotic resort, walking distance. The prices here are far lower than the resort and the evening meal outstanding.
The owner/chef, makes her own Thai pastes and flavours, she is happy to discuss her produce, recipes and methods, and even offered us to join her in the kitchen while she prepared our meals. We chose to watch the sun go down, drinking tasty cocktails or reasonably priced beers. My wife enjoyed this place so much, we are here 4 out of our 5 night stay, enjoying a wonderful Thai meal every time. I cannot fault this place, the staff are lovely and the food is even lovelier. Thank you.

We had Tom Yam seafood, and Pannang curry for lunch and both dishes were delicious. We ordered bowl of rise to Panang Curry. Restaurant is located close to the main road, but it us not very busy and offeres fantastic sea view.
Price for the 3 portions of tom yum, three pannangs and three beers was moderate THB 1.400 (approx. 43 EUR)
Strongly recommended!

We ordered the fish of the day (Bamboo fish) and chicken phad thai with fried spring rolls to start. All very delicious. My partner ordered mojitos and said they were some of the best he has ever had! The setting was wonderful and a great place to watch the sunset. Also the chef and staff were all incredibly friendly! A must if you're in Koh Lanta

My Sister and I was looking for a good fish resaurant in Koh Lanta and we read many good reviews of the Salty fish. Because of the many good reviews I didn´t really care that it was expensive. Sadly we didn´t had a good experince here. We had to wait really long until they came to get our order. After this it took quit long as well until our food came, which was okay because we could enjoy the view and it was quit busy as well. When we got the food it was good but it wasn´t worse the price. I eat much better fish for less. Also they forgot to serve the vegetable with the one fish. We asked them and the excused for that, but they didn´t brought it and we also had to pay the full prize.
ALl in all I was really disappointed.

This restaurant is on the main road at the back of the beach. It doesn’t look the likeliest place to find great food but don’t be fooled by appearances. The food we had was excellent ; fresh ingredients, spicy with lots of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the setting delightful. Well worth a visit.

Very delicious thai food. The restaurant has a very good view over the sea. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. We had a mango salat, panaeng curry with prawn, and a phat thai! It tasted so good and the price was fair.

Owned by local Thai lady with her German husband. Excellent food. A1. Creatively presented. Cocktails are exciting - I tried a Spicy Chilli Cocktail 🍹. Surprisingly it worked! Lady can cook fish! Every dish tops. We were very happy with our experience and she made our last night extra special - even though she knew we were not coming back. A genuine person who takes pride in her business.
Views are idyllic. Outside of restaurant does not do it justice. Go in and become a customer.
Restaurant is near Exotic Moonlight Bay Hotel.

Amazing food that is meticulously cooked with a lot of heart, stunning sunsets and friendly staff. A great (and to some extent overlooked) option to nextdoor Shanti Shanti.

Friendly, family-owned joint with lovely views of the beach. Try the salty fish or fresh spring rolls! If you are lucky you might get a fresh banana cake too!

We picked our own fish which was filleted served with a dipping sauce/vegetables & Thai salad
Manageress guided us through the menu. They gave us mango sticky rice as a feee dessert which was delicious

It is a little hard to know which days this restaurant is open, but we pass often and pop in when we see that someone is there. The BBQ plate with shrimps and chicken is in the vegetarian section of the menu, but via google translate we got the explaination that it had been placed there by mistake. Food was good and plantiful, but arrived in a strange order. First my husbands starter, then my main, then after 15 minutes my husbands main and then my starter.:-) all was good though, and cheap!
