This may be a little more pricey than the rest of restaurants found on the island but worth every cent. Good option when you get tired of Pad thai etc..they have a large selection mixing European influence with South African and Thai (you'll find Spanish chorizo, Italian gnocchis or South African wine). Excellent gnocchis as a starter. We then add... More

Nothing to complain about as far as the food was concerned, but the surroundings and noisy road isn't too great. For the price I would have expected much better cutlery - it lets the place down.

This place was a real find. A really interesting menu that combines western style food with Thai flavours. The service was fantastic too, and the open kitchen meant that you could see it was spotless. It really stands out from some of the average Thai restaurants aimed at tourists.

I went last night with my husband and 2 kids. We were really looking forward to a nice dinner, but from the moment we came in we felt very unwelcomed. I sense it was because of the kids. (They didnt have any highchairs which to me confirmed this....) The waitress talked back to me when I commented that the food... More

Interesting menu, very tasty food. Staff is good. It's my 3rd visit to Lanta and Red Snapper is the best money value restaurant on the island. Reservation recommended in high season. You will be seated for dinner at the bar if no reservation which is perfectly fine except the stools dont have back support and at some point it gets... More

The restaurant is welcoming and the staff are really friendly. We ate here several times while in Ko Lanta and would rate it as one of the best! The food is fresh and they have a varied menu with specials changing daily.

Thank you,our pleasure. But our specials,I have to say, don't change on a daily base, more once or twice a week, just for everybody's information. Hope to see you back one day on our lovely little island. More

This is the best place I visited on the island. Everything about is in right. Friendly staff, efficient service, good portions and, most of all, superb food. And its the sort of place that you can simply walk into the kitchen and ask the (Dutch) chef what he recommends, or simply to tell him how you like it! I have... More

We ate here last night. Had a selection of tapas to start, all were a good size the jalapeño cheese croquettes, garlic prawns and fried salmon were outstanding! I had lamb for my main which was better than any lanb dish back home and cooked superbly! Portion sizes were very generous and staff were really friendly and spoke great English,... More

I just wrote a stellar review of the Red Snapper 2 days ago after a terrific meal. Tonight my husband and I stopped in at 8:40 pm to see if we could take away a piece of the wonderful passion fruit dessert we had eaten last time. Take out was not an option,so we were happy to stay there just... More

I'm very sorry for that, will talk with my staff about it. I know that at that point we were still expecting guests who made reservations.so yes those tables couldn't been given to you, In situations like this I taught my staff to offer seats at the bar to,or waiting for the first table coming free or to enjoy their food... The photos on the web give an unfair impression of this restaurant and what it has to offer. At first glance it seems a bit austere and uninviting being right on the main road, but once you cross the threshold you wont be disappointed by the food. Actually although it's a giant shed of a building they have done some... More

An exciting list of small plates, starters and main courses during the night. A nice bar environment with fine wines, cocktails and spirits.
