About
Koh Tao's only western style vegan/vegetarian cafe! We use fresh ingredients to create healthy and delicious plates, bowls, salads, smoothies and homemade soft drinks. The menu is 100% vegan, but you can choose dairy add-ons such as cheese. There are also many gluten-free options. In addition, all our sauces, dressings and nut butters are made in-house.

A great break from fried rice and noodles- we tried the first salad on the menu and it was fantastic. The bakery across the street also had great options so we got something from there too. Highly advise popping in for lunch especially if you'll be partying and eating pizza or burgers for dinner! 😆

I spent two months on the island during COVID-19 so it was important to find eateries which made me want to go back to eat there; or in this case, takeaway and delivery. And Vegtabowl was one of those. I ate here over 10 times during this period which might not sound like much, but I fast and only eat once a day and chose this restaurant to provide my only meal.
Delicious healthy salads with additional homemade dressings and wonderfully sized portions. Keto, low carb, gluten free will be catered for here. I especially love the crispy tofu croutons and will look to recreate back in the UK. The secret is to fry them in rice bran oil! Not one salad I didn’t obsess over, but my favourite was the Zen.
The smoothies are gorgeous too, surprise win was Popeye’s green spinach, kale and banana one! Please do yourself a favour and check it out.

Wow! Now this is one place to rave about!
Brilliant fresh food at its finest with large portions, no fuss, healthy and quality produce.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed the bowls - Mexican bowl and Power Bowl - you have the option to add feta cheese, tofu and a few other ingredients if you wish.
To start we had tofu wraps with vegan mayo - YUM!
We will be back tomorrow.

I got the Japanese themed bowl which was full of fresh veggies, rice, tofu, and crunchy bits with a miso wasabi sauce. Really enjoyed it. It felt refreshing on a hot evening. I also loved the iced lemongrass tea.

The whole menu is delicious. Each ingredient is super fresh and the portions are generous.
You will also get served pretty quickly.
I particularly recommend the Bowls: you will be served a massive multicoloured salad over lettuce or rice. So yummy and filling!

Good vibes and amazing food. It's fresh and so nutritious. Everything is healthy and so filling, it was a tough task deciding what to have because everything sounds amazing. My partner and I tried the Mexican bowl and wellness bowl. Both incredible. Just go, you'll love it. Hope to come back to try more during our stay!!

I lived for over a year on Koh Tao and Vegetabowl was a staple part of my diet there. I would order it 2 - 3 times a week. I never ate in at the restaurant and always got delivery which was generally pretty quick. I tried at least 50% of their menu and my absolute favourite was the Mexican bowl. Excellent food for any vegan or vegetarians, or anyone just like myself who is looking for that balance to a Thai food diet.

We aren’t vegetarians but we love this place. Everything we’ve had has been fantastic. Lunch today was tofu tacos and Japanese tacos but their salads and bowls are fantastic too. For what you get, the prices are beyond reasonable. All ingredients are healthy, fresh and delicious. There is a reason this restaurant is routinely rated one of the best on Koh Tao.

Enjoyed the food here a couple of times during a recent holiday in Koh Tao.
The food comes out super fresh...tasty and healthy.
So many yummy options but really loved the mushroom hand rolls! Totally amazing!

We hunted down Vegetabowl as the menu looked so good.
It did not disappoint.
The portions were great, they were happy to remove items & also box what was left because I got so excited for the options that I ordered too much.
The hand rolled and taco dishes were incredible!
The service is friendly and food is quick.

Loved this place! The food was so good and healthy, and for a pretty normal price (350bahts for two bowls + two waters). They also don’t use any plastic when serving which is always a plus. We’ll definitely come again!

Having celiac , I have been having a lot of issues finding suitable food on Koh Tao...
After getting glutened twice despite explaining to the kitchens about my intolerance I ended up here.
Really nice staff and the food is a thing of dreams, gluten free, vegan and super healthy. Definitely coming back here every day throughout my stay.

Delicious every time! Our family ate here 3 times while on Koh Tao. We kept coming back for the fresh, flavorful, food and the yummy homemade ginger ale.
I left each meal feeling energized and ready to enjoy the island.

Just everything about this little gem of a restaurant is perfect.So many healthy options but so delicious it feels like a cheat! The 'specials' are next level! The staff are also so welcoming and friendly.
I'm not even vegetarian but feel I could eat here every day of my life and not get bored!

I’m on a mission to taste all the falafel I can and these were good! I ordered the Energy Bowl and it was huge! Loaded with sprouts, spinach, sweet potatoes, hummus, and vegan feta cheese, it felt good to eat. Great service and a nice change from heavy oils/frying.
