This restaurant serves typical Moroccan food, traditional flavors. Nothing exciting except it's indoors, separated from outside activity. Expect meat and seafood; minimal vegetables.

We have eaten here a number of times and despite the smallness of the dining room (and the fact that it's located in a hotel), the food here is excellent.

Food here is quiet exceptional, it´s not the typical menu, it´s tasty and very colorful. Always enjoy eating here

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and had dinner here twice. We were somewhat surprised by a couple of negative reviews as we found the food to be very tasty and wondered if they were actually for the other restaurant that is attached to the front of the same building. We stayed as 2 couples so the first... More

The food at Al Alba is original, sophisticated and well thought out. Variations on Moroccan themes as well as totally original ideas. If you are staying at the hotel don't bother going out and eat there. If you are not staying at the hotel try and get a reservation.

If you love water in your hummus, search no more because that's exactly what they offer! Or if you'd like a beautiful looking meat crepe that doesn't taste like anything, you've found the perfect place! On asking if they could replace my hummus with one without water, they asked me if I tried it. I said yes. They replied asking... More

Hopes were high after reading the reviews here and first impressions, but the food was a major disappointment. I am pretty sure the place is run by Spanish people. Personally I find it to be a turn off when foreigners run a local restaurant. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the staff were friendly. The food is also very well... More

Best food we had in all of Asilah. Set 3 course menu for 130 dirhams was great value, delicious and beautifully presented. Book a hammam/massage before, and stay for a chicha after. 15 walk from the medina.

Sophisicated, in an atractive setting, with a refined menú; the warm welcome and lovely smile of the owner/hostess Maria made our evening a great success. Although actually very near the centre, it takes a bit of finding, but is well worth the effort. All four of us (ladies from Tarifa) rated it excellent.
