Came here in the company of my colleagues, and I'd say this, the places was awesome. Service was prompt, the food was great. I would like to visit again, and will recommend this place to anyone. Pricing? On the higher side, but worth it.

Rabia was a good host. Changed arrival time a couple of times but he was very accommodating of my schedules, had gifts in hand and checked constantly to make sure we were satisfied with the food. Not too pricy and good ambiance.

I love the ambiance of the Restaurant. From the the home coming atmosphere in its exterior to the right light setting in the interior, great food and excellent dessert make this place as good for a formal lunch meeting to a very relaxed and drawn out official dinner. With family and friends you would be glad you made this your... More

Villa Medici is a pleasant restaurant in Victoria island, Lagos. Set in a charming building (a converted residential home), it has three main dining areas: a private room which can be hired out for functions, a main dining space and a nice outside dining space in the gardens. The food and service at Villa Medici were good. We had the... More

We visited here in December whilst on a business trip to Lagos. With the name I was expecting an Italian menu which there was not and the options were fairly limited. Both myself and my colleague had a steak for our main which was ok and not medium rare which was asked for. Overall the meal was ok, cost was... More

This beautiful restaurant was mismanaged for a couple of years but I am very happy to say now that the management is back in the hands of the owner and the improvement is immediate. A beautiful setting, lovely food and nice wines. N.B. The most beautiful decorated ladies in Lagos, everything is so elegant.

The food at Villa Medici is great, but I don't like the fact that each time I've been there we've had to wait at least 30 minutes for our table to be ready

Enjoyed a dinner here recently with very friendly waiters. I tried the fish but next time will be having the steak on recommendation and will have to revert.

We went to Villa Medici for a birthday dinner and were very pleased. First, to get the normal Lagos caveat out of the way: Medici is a pricey place at about $100/person with appetizer, wine, entree, and dessert. But given the quality of food and service, that's not bad at all for Lagos. The waiters were well-trained and very amicable.... More

Parking sucks, which is a shame, but the food here is pretty good. Caipirinhas also great here though you might need to tell the bartender not to change out the rum type or sugar on a repeat order.
