Very basic restaurant which serves tasty local food. Would highly recommend for a cheap meal. Very much enjoyed the veg and cheese kottu

This sounds like a garden centre cafe selling fry up's, however this serves excellent traditional Sri Lankan food. The hoppers and currys were recommend to us and they were great. Don't expect the place to be fancy, it's more for the food and good prices. Would eat there again.

All local food. Obviously fresh ingredients as they have high volume of customers. You see many locals stop by and take home. Prices are really cheap but quality is good.

This local restaurant was a 10 minute walk away from our hostel and we ate there both nights. Really cheap and food tasted good! Serves local food like rice and curry, kotthu etc. Also has a juice bar. Would recommend!

Another case of TripAdvisor building up my expectations and letting me down. Just had a cheese kottu and my wife devilled chicken and they are both half finished. We hoped for a local style cafe that was a great find serving delicious food, instead it's just what it looks like a mediocre roadside cafe. The preparation was ok, but the... More

Saw this place and thought we'd give it a try. Lots of local people, which is always a good sign! We sat inside, it's very small and we were lucky enough that a table for all of us just became available, but I'd be prepared to wait if you're a large group. It's not the cleanest of places... but I... More

Great food and definitely a locals spot which means it's the real deal! There were other tourists there as well. It was very busy and a little hard to get the attention of the server but overall the food was delicious and at a great price. I definitely recommend going. Two rotti, fried noodles, kottu rotti, and two big water... More

We went here after having walked around Kandy and had a mango lassi and vegetable & cheese kottu! We have been travelling in Sri Lanka for two weeks by this point and yet, to our surprise this was the best kottu we've had!!! Generous portions, very good value, freshly prepared both the drink and food and very very tasty! Very... More

We went to this place as our guesthouse was nearby after it was recommended by several locals and TripAdvisor. Honestly can't say we were really impressed with the place or the food. The place is just a very basic local take away restaurant. It was cheap indeed but the food really didn't have any taste. They were out of most... More
