Food was absolutely amazing. The filet mignon and blue cheese sauce is the best filet I ever had. The ceviche is a must as well. Vegetarian food was also very good.

We chose El Ultimo Refugio based on Tripadvisor ratings and the meal was really wonderful. My son had chicken on a bed of mashed potatoes and I had the lobster over rice. Both were magnificent in every way. The fish ceviche was excellent as well. There was interesting live world music in the house and the setting on the water... More

Great food, great staff and without a doubt the most enjoyable atmosphere to dine in Bocas del Toro, located over the water with a view of Bocas marina, the live music was perfect to accompany great food...This is a very popular restaurant, let them know your coming if you don`t want to be disapointed

We ate at this restaurant twice during our three night stay in Bocas Town. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely recommend this restaurant from one foodie to another!

I always expect bad service when traveling in Central America so this place was a nice surprise. The waiters were on it! The food was really great - we went back twice and ordered the same thing - the steak. It's great!

Honestly the best food I've ever had! Great service and amazing food. I had the pumpkin gnocci as an ap, chicken for my main, and the snickers cheesecake for dessert. I haven't stopped thinking about it since!

If you're looking for a great meal, you'll not be disappointed. Try the frozen snickers pie, magnificent ending to a fun experience

We had a great meal here. My husband had the sesame crusted tuna which he really enjoyed. I had the snapper and it was also very good. The jungle Juice drnk was too sweet for me but others that like sweet drinks would probably enjoy it. The prices are expensive for this part of the world though...

Probably the most sophisticated food in Bocas. But the physical setting and atmosphere is no better than the other waterfront restaurants in Bocas. Loud music and a little shabby.

Was introduced by local and does not disappoint. Menu changes daily, only here couple days and gone back twice. Was not expecting such chef inspired menu that fits for all. All staff are very happy, upbeat and seem to enjoy it as much as you do. Dock is there for cocktails to watch sunset.
