Very nice salad bar in afternoon/evening. Wine selection is good and reasonably priced. Good fish for dinner.

Los Quetzales Restaurant (like its namesake hotel) lives by paying attention to the details. The wait staff is one the spot to help with anything, all while not being intrusive. The Lodge raises its own organic produce, and they know how to cook it. Where most tend to overcook vegatables, these were perfect, still yielding a little crunch, but bursting... More

The Quetzel lodge is very charming but unfortunately we didn't stay there. On our visit we ate lunch in the restaurant. I don't know who the chef is but the vegetables in coconut curry sauce was the most amazing thing I've ever eaten. The others enjoyed their meals as well. Service was pleasant too. The only negative is that there... More

I went here all the way from Boquete based on a recommendation of my host. At the door, it says open 7 am to 9 pm while a sign at the tourist information desk in the ground floor of the same building says lunch is served noon to 2 pm. The website says nothing at all. When I arrived at... More

Excellent food and excellent wine. Tapas, paella and beef filet very well prepared, and fresh. ! Our favorite place for lunch and/or dinner every time we go to Cerro Punta, Chiriquí, Panama.

Everything about this place, from the relaxed atmosphere to the lovely, attentive waiter, to the food, was perfect except for one problem. On the day that we were there, there were so many flies around us, it really affected the experience for all 4 of us. We started out inside, but moved out onto the deck, thinking maybe it was... We went to Los Quetzales for lunch. It is a beautiful building with an Alpine feel. The restaurant is on the second floor and has a great, open and airy feeling. My wife ordered a steak while I just ordered some pasta. Her steak was in her words, the best she's ever had, and she really likes steak! It was... More

This ecolodge is a wonderful place to relax, explore natural surroundings and eat healthy. Almost everything is locally grown. It is not fancy, but rather rustic and informal in all respects. Rooms are ample and well equipped, but if you are looking for luxury this is not the place. If you are the adventurous type then you'll love it.

Small but basic menu consisting of pizzas, salad and pastas. We had the pizza and it was tasty but the crust was soggy. Definitely not like pizza you would find in Italy or New York. The staff was very nice but slow. The pace of life here seems to be in slow motion which is fine.
