High tea at the Imperial Hotel is all about the experience. Sitting in the luxury surroundings with impeccable service is to be recommended. The generous portion is a mixture of Indian and traditional English high tea options which is average. Would recommend the experience if you are not staying at The Imperial

Its not for the high tea that I will recommend this place - its for the great Imperial experience one MUST go to the Atrium where afternoon tea is served. There is a minimum cover charge for the atrium and the place fills fast. Besides the usual beverages, the Indian snacks samosa and pakoras are worth every penny. Its like... More

Very nice place to take afternoon tea. Service was first class and made the afternoon very enjoyable. Sandwiches were ok but cakes and scones were delicious and the Assam tea perfect. Had a look round hotel as well and may stay here when I win the lottery.

We had tea one day and it was so sumptuous that we did not need to eat dinner. One tea order is plentiful enough for two adults.

To take a break at the Imperial is always a fantastic joy. It is wonderful to understand how it has been, but the Indian touch is still very important

Last month we had visited Taj Mumbai and had a beautiful experience of their high tea. The spread was superb, full of variety and the service was impeccable . When we got together again here in Delhi we decided to have another HIGH TEA session but were highly disappointed. Not only was the menu and serving pathetic, even the service... More

Each time we visit Delhi we stay at The Imperial. It has a very elegant restaurant to dine but I think High tea is a must: sandwiches, pastries, desserts, etc. A very old british India experience

Check your change here at the Imperial! We were short-changed by a thousand rupees for our high tea. The manager apologised and re-funded the money but it was an exceedingly poor show by a hotel that makes the claim of being the best in Asia. It seems that 'posh' establishments may not be exempt from the Delhi disease of chasing... More

I went for the afternoon tea there with the ladies of my family and especially my nieces. It is a beautiful hotel. The service was great, they had a wide selection of teas hot and iced. The food was good. I would definitely go there again.

My husband and I have really enjoy going to High Tea when and wherever we can. High tea at the Imperial was a real disappointment and would have preferred to give it a 2.5 rating. The sandwiches seemed to have been made earlier in the day as the bread was a bit dry/crusty. There was a lack of "daintiness" As... More
